WAFFNER - William D. Age 82, of East Aurora, NY, January 23, 2023. Beloved husband of Karen M. (King) Waffner; dearest father of W. Todd Waffner (Jill Jandreau), Eric J. Waffner, MD (Jennifer Dole Waffner) and Kathleen G. Waffner (Kevin Murphy); grandfather of Eleen, Madeline, Simon, Willa, Hanna, and Emma; loving son of the late William J. and Virginia (Dean) Waffner; brother of the late Lisa Schultz; also survived by nieces and nephews. Bill was an avid sailor and skier; activities he passed down to his children. Working as an engineer, Bill retired after a lengthy career with Moog, Inc., with several patents in his name.
