SCHEUER - Robert A. August 9, 1949 - February 15, 2026 Of Town of Tonawanda, NY. Beloved husband of Mary M. (Ulatowski) Scheuer; dearest father of Brett C. (Denise) Scheuer, Romi J. (Michael) Vazquez, Talia M. (David) Root and Rhea A. (Max) McCulloch; grandfather "Bucky" of Michael (Karen) Vazquez Jr., Jessica Scheuer, Kaley (James) Regan, Ryan (Chrissy) Scheuer, Jacob Scheuer, Nico Scheuer, Savana Root, Jasmine Root, Nyah Scheuer, Willow Root and Emmy McCulloch; great-grandfather "Bucky" of Layla, Canaan, Michael III, Juliana, Theo, Nolan, Monroe and Collins; loving son of Mary Lou (Braun) and the late Robert J. Scheuer; brother of Donna (Mark) Turri and the late Michael Scheuer; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at the Newman Center, 495 Skinnerville Rd., Amherst, NY, Monday, March 9, 2026 at 1:30 PM with a Celebration of Life Gathering to immediately follow. The Mass of Christian Burial will also be live streamed via the UB Newman Center website (https://newmancenteratub.org/) and on their Facebook page. Memorial contributions may be made to World Vision, or Friends of the Night People. Mr. Rob Scheuer was a man of God, had a devotion to his mother, Mary Lou (97), a special love for all of the family dogs, and was a drummer and singer since his teenage years. He received the Blues Beat Magazine 2005 Muddy Waters Award for Drummer of the Year. He was also nominated for the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame. He opened for various national recording acts including Fleetwood Mac and Muddy Waters. Rob was an integral part of the WNY volleyball community. Mr. Rob Scheuer had a deep devotion to volunteering and helping the less fortunate. He was an avid jogger, and a hockey player in his younger years.
