MAXWELL – Robert A. “Bob” Sr.

April 17, 1939 – August 1, 2026

Of Albion, NY, passed peacefully at home at 87. Bob was born in Searsburg, Vermont to Edward Maxwell and Viola Davis Maxwell Marcos. He grew up as one of nine children and is pre-deceased by all eight of his siblings.

Bob was a hard-working and dedicated man who was employed by Davenport Dover Corporation for 35 years. His many years of service reflected the strong work ethic, commitment, and dependability that he carried throughout his life.

Bob was the father of six children. Four from his previous marriage, Robert (Valerie) Maxwell Jr., Dale Maxwell, Daryl (Noel) Maxwell and Deanna (Sam) Maxwell. Bob married Debra Mager Maxwell and together they had two daughters, Wendy (Trish) Maxwell, and Bridget Maxwell.

He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Gary Mager and Daniel (Betsy) Mager, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Bob’s life was made full by the many generations of family who followed him. He will be remembered for his strong worth ethic, the life he lived, and the many memories shared with family and friends.
