SMITH - Mary M. (nee Snyder) Of Eden, NY, January 30, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Christopher A. Smith, passed away on January 30, 2025. Cherished mother of Ann J. (Gerard) Banfill, Christopher A. Smith, and William M. (Tricia) Smith. Devoted grandmother, she adored her grandchildren, Ellen Banfill, and Ethan and Harper Smith. Loving daughter of the late James and Hilda (Leissle) Snyder; Mary was a loving sister to James (Deborah) Snyder, Joe (Nancy) Snyder, Jane (Gary) Gienger, John (Lynn) Snyder, and Paul (Cathy) Snyder; also survived by many nieces and nephews who will always hold her close in their hearts. Mary was an avid quilter who found joy in sewing, always working on projects for family, friends, and charitable organizations. Her kindness, generosity, and homemade shortbread cookies will be deeply missed by all who knew her. There will be a memorial gathering in the future in order to honor and celebrate Mary's legacy.
