BOYD-BOWMAN - Margit F. (nee Haragos) Of Amherst, NY, a well-known member of the Hungarian community, succumbed to a brief respiratory illness at the Millard-Fillmore Suburban Hospital on January 3rd, 2021, at age 97. A former language instructor at the University of Buffalo, she will best be remembered as the loving wife of Dr. Peter M. Boyd-Bowman until his death in 2010. Margit is survived by her sister "Mili" (Zoltan Soos) and many other relatives and friends in Hungary and around the world; three step-children in the US: Dr. Susan Emanuel (Kerry), Janis Boyd-Bowman and Peter Campbell Boyd-Bowman (Mary Ann); five grandchildren: Lindsay (Pedro), Stephanie (George), Kimberly, Peter James (Kathy), David; and four great-grandchildren: Sebastian, Xavier, Summer, and Alexander.
