Loreda entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2024, at the age of 81. She was the youngest of four children, born on August 22, 1943, in Smackover, Arkansas. She relocated to Monroe, Louisiana at any early age. Upon moving to Buffalo, New York with her family, she attended public school #87 and East High School. She also attended Grambling High School and Grambling College for 2 years in Louisiana. Loreda returned to Buffalo and married Charles Reese in 1964. Out of this union, they had 4 children, Derrick, Tracy, Stephanie, who preceded her in death, and Kelly Reese.

She was also preceded in death by her father, Charles Rufus Ford Sr. and mother, Ella (Rush-Hunter); sister, Vera (late Robert) Harbin, Buffalo; and her brother, Charles Rufus Ford Jr. (late Milbry), Los Angeles.

Loreda leaves to mourn her sister, Eloise (late Ralph) Ferguson, Los Angeles; ten grandchildren: Justin (Erin), Brandon, Marissa, Will, Nick, Amanda, Kevin, Kameron, Aubrey, and Amari; great-granddaughters, Bella Marie, Bailee, Blake, Stephanie Blue, Mya, and Jordyn; and great-grandsons, Josiah and Nicholas. She also cherished her beloved dog, Butterbean.

Lastly, she was a faithful believer in her Catholic faith, and loved her church, St. Martin de Porres, which she regularly attended until she became ill.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Martin De Porres Church, 555 Northampton St., Buffalo, NY, Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 10:30 AM.
