SCHWARTZ - Lillian L. (nee Shields) Of Depew, NY, died at home surrounded by her family, August 6, 2023. Beloved wife of the late John "Jack" Schwartz, Sr.; cherished mother of James (Deborah) Schwartz, Doris Schwartz, John (Robin) Schwartz, Jr., Judith Schwartz-Liszewski (late Kent Liszewski) and Janice (Tim) Sullivan; adored grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; predeceased by 4 sisters and 1 brother; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Variety Banquet Club, 6114 Broadway, Lancaster, NY, on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 1 PM, with a luncheon to immediately follow. Lillian was an avid gardener and loved to sew, especially for her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Night People.
