PERRY - Katherine SuzanneOf Buffalo, NY, Kathy, or Kat as she was affectionately known, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her wife, Tracy Perry, and children, Shawn (Kristina) St. John, Sarah (Max) Perry, Erin (Nick) Perry, Jeffrey (Angie) Jarembek, Jeremy (Sierra) Jarembek, and grandchildren, Abel, Jersey and Nadia Jarembek, father, Howard St. John, and sisters, Mary (Daniel) DeSantis, Christine (Michel) St. John and Cheryl (Justin) St. John, along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Arlene St. John, sister, Fran Bevilacqua, and nephew, Ken Bores. Kat was passionate about her family, work, and serving those in need. She worked as a chef for over 30 years in Buffalo and surrounding areas. Most recently she worked at Vive where she served those seeking asylum from Central and South America. She enjoyed hosting and traveling with her wife and friends. Some of her favorite destinations included Joshua Tree, Smokey Mountains, Tennessee, and an annual trip to Cedar Point for Hallow Weekends. Kat is loved and missed by those she touched throughout her life and will be remembered for her kind and loving spirit. To honor Kat's wishes, there is no formal service planned.
