TAYLOR - Joseph L.Of Elma, NY, age 91, passed away peacefully on the early morning of October 19, 2023. Joseph was the beloved and faithful husband of his wife, Mary. They were an inseparable couple for the past 60 years. He loved and was adored by his family: stepson, Timothy (Dawn) Noe; grandchildren, Daryl (Erin) Noe, Brad (Andrea) Noe, Audrey (Jordan) Kross, Laura (Adam) Large, and great-grandchildren, Isabella, Andrew, Owen, Lillian, Elise, Nora, Gabriel, Weston, Stella, Aurora, and Marigold (Goldie); also survived by his sisters, Victoria Handzlik and Frances Machnica, and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers, Edward and Ted Handzlik, and parents, Sophie and Edward Handzlik. Joseph was passionate about the Bills, ice-cream, any other dessert, draft beer, Notre Dame football, betting the horses, his garden, and just about any and all food. His appetite was legendary. Joseph was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the American Legion, and a retired Teamster. If you knew Joe in any way, you knew he was one of the sweetest people ever. In his last days he said, "Tell everyone that I love them all very much, my wife Mary, Tim and Dawn, all the grandkids and their families, my family, all our great neighbors, and all our friends.
