MAHER - Gerard M. Of Buffalo, NY, bid farewell to this world on June 16, 2023, at age 75, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 13, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA. Gerry worked as a beloved professional actor on Buffalo stages for 23 years, appearing in dozens of productions and winning two Artie Awards. He was a talented, witty, brilliant and kind person, who leaves a lasting impression on the hearts of many. Gerry is survived by his daughters, Emily-Rose (Brandon) and Eliza; son, Patrick; grandchildren, Samuel, George, Landon and Gracie; sister, Kathleen; brothers, Joe (Ann), Jimmy (Katie), Sean (Cathy) and Kevin (Peggy); his former spouse, Tammy; also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary, his sister, Missy and his nephew, Owen. A gathering will be held on June 28, 2023, at the Irish Classical Theatre, located at 625 Main Street, Buffalo, NY, starting at 5 PM.
