SCHOHN - Eleanor (nee Drew) Of Williamsville, NY, December 25, 2023, at age 97. She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, James (in 1952) and her cherished daughter, Elizabeth (in 1960). She is survived by her treasured daughter, Dr. Mary Schohn and her husband, Dr. Larry Lantinga; her grandchildren, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Scott) Behrend and Martin "Mac" (Sonya) Murrett and her beloved great-grandchildren, Henry and Olive Murrett and Ruby Behrend. Eleanor, lovingly known as Beka to her friends and family, worked as a Medical Office Manager until her retirement. She then became a volunteer at the local library and senior citizens center, while improving her golf game. She was an avid, most would say an excellent, bridge player. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Cremation has taken place and her remains will be interred in the hills of Allegany County, her place of joyful childhood memories with family and friends. No prior visitation.
