LAWSON - Eleanor L. Age 91, on January 1, 2021. Loving wife of the late William Lawson, Jr.; beloved mom of Heather (Alan), Holly (Jerry) and Alison (Thomas); grandmother of eight. Ellie was a gourmet cook, quilter and avid gardener. She loved to be outside and was active her whole life, playing tennis until age 85 and walking even when she needed to use a walker. A lifetime learner and dedicated to supporting education both by volunteering at a public school and funding scholarships. Eleanor was passionate about reading books of all types and the NY Times, listening to NPR and watching the News Hour. No prior visitation. A Service will be held in summer.
