KRIER - Edward C. Of Cheektowaga, NY, passed away suddenly February 28, 2023, at age 86. Loving husband of the late Marilyn R. (Weber) Krier; dearest father of Lori (Russ) Zink, Wendy Stephens, Edward (Jeannie) Krier, Lynn (Scott) Wood and Jenny Kirwin; also survived by 14 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; loving son of the late Chester C. and Catherine R. (Preister) Krier; brother of Joanne Ames and James Krier. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service at Lovejoy Church, 5423 Genesee St., Lancaster, NY, Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 10 AM. Ed retired from General Motors Axle Plant after 30 years of service. In retirement, Ed became an avid runner, participating in many running events and marathons across the country. Ed, a former Marine, was well-known for his Fourth of July celebrations that included 100's of Flags, tributes to Veterans, and the shooting of his cannon.
