RIZZO - Cheryl L. (nee Anderson) Of Lackawanna, NY. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Cheryl L. Rizzo, who died on July 28, 2024, in Buffalo, NY. She was born on December 21, 1961 in Miami, FL.

Cheryl was predeceased by her father, Bruce Anderson, and her brother-in-law, Jeff Hayes. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Frohe; her step-father, Joseph Frohe; her sister, Deborah Hayes; her niece, Julia Hayes; her brother, Scott Anderson; her daughter, Jennylynne Tzerefos (nee Rizzo) and her husband, JC Tzerefos; and her sons, Brandon and Adam Rizzo. She is survived by her step-siblings, Sharyl, Kyle, Joseph, Thomas, and Roxanne. She is also survived by her loving cat, Bella.

Cheryl will be remembered for her thoughtful kindness, unrelenting love of her children, and unbeatable stubbornness. Her prized possessions included a complete collection of all of Tom Jones' works, 1980s leather jackets, and handwritten birthday cards from her kids. Her laughter, jokes, and on-the-minute birthday calls will be missed and cherished by those who were fortunate enough to love her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Mary Cariola, a teaching center in Rochester, NY for children and young adults with disabilities.
