KLOS - Albert K. "Al" Passed peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the age of 77. By his side was his loving wife, Laura, of 19 years. Predeceased by his parents, Winifred and Willard Klos; sister, Valerie Wittmer; survived by his brother, Charles Klos; daughters, Kristine (Corey) Perry, Karen (Theodore) Holz; grandchildren, Riley, Cooper, Theodore, and Audrey; nephew, Timothy Klos; niece, Elizabeth (Justin) Gallagher. Al was a 28 year veteran of the U.S. Navy and a proud member of the Tuscarora Nation. He was an active member of Native Society, participating in Haudenosaunee and Ogichidaa teachings. He enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, making jewelry, weather tracking and chasing storms. He was a generous man whose absence will be felt by many. No services are planned at this time. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may donate to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center or the Buffalo VA Hospital.
